Situated in the littoral of the Argentinian northeast region, the General Belgrano bridge crosses the Paraná River. The Yaciretá dam (from Guaraní jasy retã, “land of the moon”), one of the largest hydroelectric power generators in the world and is between Corrientes and Paraguay.
